Late Bronze Age Cultures c.1200-750 BC |
Many of the Late Bronze Age cultures of Europe are shown here. The primary focus is on the Urnfield culture and its regional offshoots, and the two main non-Mediterranean Bronze Age systems. It was from the Urnfield culture that the subsequent Hallstatt culture of the Celts sprang. A clickable version of this map is available for desktop displays.
