Map of Scandinavia AD 2017 |
Today's map of the Nordic countries remains largely similar to the post-Second World War map, with the eastern Finnish/Kvenish lands permanently part of Russia, but now with the Baltic states restored to independence following decades of post-war occupation, and Belarus a nominally independent state for the first time. The remnants of East Prussia, now termed Kaliningrad, are also still held by Russia (shown in a matching green between Lithuania and an unlabelled Poland on this map). A clickable version of this map is available for desktop displays. To select a kingdom, state, or tribe for further information, click on its name.
