How is Chicken Road 2 different from the first Chicken Road?

External content provider image

Both games are about a chicken crossing the road, so it’s easy to mistake them for the same game, but that’s not quite the case. It’s easier to check everything out in the Chicken Road 2 demo, where you don’t have to risk your own money. But if you’re trying to figure out which version is better – you should compare it specifically to the original Chicken Road, not to other games in the series that came out later.

What exactly does version 2 offer?

Chicken Road 2 was released not too long ago, compared to many other slots. It’s easy to figure out: after a successful move, you can continue moving or end the round.

One of the most notable features of version 2 is the varying path lengths across the four difficulty levels:

1. Easy – 30 steps to the end of the path
2. Medium – 25 steps
3. Hard – 22 steps
4. Hardcore – 18 steps.

The modes describe the length of the path, not the number of steps you need to take in each round. You can stop earlier.

In the demo of Chicken Road 2 – this difference is easy to see without doing any calculations. Open the Easy mode, note the length of the path scale, and then, after completing the round, compare it to Hardcore. That way, you're testing two modes at once.

The original Chicken Road – a game focused on the path to the golden egg. Chicken Road 2 is a separate game where the chicken walks along a busy road. Both versions offer difficulty selection and a demo option, so these features won’t help you identify which version you’re playing. The most reliable way to compare them – open the two separate demos, try them out for yourself, and then choose which one you prefer.

When to change the difficulty

Chicken Road 2 has only 4 difficulty levels: easy, medium, hard, and hardcore. You must сhoose 1 of 4 levels of difficulty before the round begins. If you decide to try a different difficulty during the game, you won’t be able to change it. First, finish the current round and make sure you see the title screen again. If you tap the difficulty name in the middle of a round – it won’t change anything.

Here’s a quick guide to comparing difficulty levels:

● select easy and play one test round
● end it using the in-game command
● return to the initial settings
● select a different difficulty level
● make sure your new selection is displayed before the round starts.

A few test runs won’t reveal how the upcoming round will end. However, after two levels, you’ll already know where the settings change and can be more confident that you’ve selected the right level.

Is the second version better than the first, and what if you made a mistake?

Start by comparing what happens after the round begins. In Chicken Road 2’s demo mode, you can see the opening screen, crossing the road, and the selection after a successful move, one after another. Open the first Chicken Road here: https://indian.1xbet.com/en/slots/game/112402/chicken-road. Now you can follow the same three moments. This will make it clear what differences are visible directly in the games.

Why it’s inconvenient to close the tab in the middle of a round

You can test 2 versions at once – in different tabs. You can even play in different browsers, but sometimes it’s still better to log out before leaving the game.

Before exiting the game:

● wait for the current turn to finish
● check if the round can be ended
● perform the necessary action within the game
● look at the results screen
● then close the tab.

This order is especially helpful when switching between the two versions of Chicken Road in the same browser. Finish one action before opening another page. This way, you won’t return to a confusing screen and won’t have to guess whether the previous step has already taken place.

If you pressed the wrong button

The response depends on when you made the mistake. Before the round starts, you usually have a chance to review your selected settings one more time. Once the round has started, the Back button won’t undo an action in the game. First, check whether the step has finished and what commands are available in the game window itself.

Go by the current 1 of 4 status:

● The round hasn’t started yet: check your settings before starting
● The turn is in progress: wait for the result
● Action options have appeared: read the button labels
● The round has ended: do not press restart until you’ve reviewed the results.

You need to be careful on the Chicken Road page at 1xBet, otherwise you might make mistakes.
